I like color, but I love neutrals. For example, I want to visit color, I want to live in neutral. Was that even a good example? No, probably not. I just find simple, natural colors very soothing to my eyeballs. But let’s dispell one myth: neutral doesn’t mean boring! Here’s proof from Cara at The Project Addict.
Such a great fabric. And 100% non-boring!
Neutrals are also a great choice if your are reupholstering something but can’t decide on a color. They will work with just about any decor AND give you freedom to change up the colorful accessories as you fancy. Sara’s couch looks streamlined and fabulous (and rabies-free!) now that it’s a simple cream, and it would also be the perfect host for a psychedelic pillow party too!
Great work Sara! See more on her blog Naptown Love.

October 10, 2013 at 5:29 AMMy parents had one of those ugly stripe chairs in the 70’s. I really did not think there was any help for it because I even hated the shape of it – but, boy was I wrong! That chair is beautiful now. Great job!
