When a vintage dresser caught Kim’s eye at an antique fair, she wasted no time inviting it upstairs, if you know what I mean.
I mean, she made it into a vanity for her guest bathroom! But that was just the tip of the bathroom-makeover-iceberg.
Jaw-dropping!
You can clearly see that everything in that ’80s builder-basic bathroom got upgraded, from the tragic light-in-a-soffit all the way down to the new marble tile. But what you can’t see is my favorite part, a genius little decorative drop-down wall that hides the shower curtain rod. But don’t worry! You can see it for yourself on Kim’s blog Tidbits & Twine.
PS: Anyone else feeling the urge to wallpaper their bathroom right this minute? Me too.

March 9, 2015 at 6:15 AMYes, literally jaw-dropping! Wow!
Is it just me or does the two pictures in the before picture, along with the towel rod, look like a sad little face?

March 9, 2015 at 10:53 AMLooks fabulous, but after stripping 2 layers of wallpaper & mold off a tiny 40s era bathroom, I will forever avoid wallpaper in moist environments. I bet stencils could work.

March 9, 2015 at 2:07 PMI am usually not a fan of wallpaper, I think it makes the bathroom look great though. What a huge difference.
I also like that people are using old furniture that some people would toss and it becomes a permanent sink fixture. What a great idea!
