Paneling of Experts

Is someone you love suffering from the unfounded belief that painting wood paneling is a crime? Have your efforts to convince them otherwise fallen on deaf ears for too long? I can help. Evidence A: this adorable girl’s room makeover by Abby.  White, bright, and full of light!  If ever there was a case to be made for painting wood paneling, this is it.  Would this room be nearly as child-friendly and full of whimsy without it?  I submit that it would not!

Lots more to see in this room (including a secret passage!  Ok, so it only goes into the closet, but still cool) over on Abby’s blog Chapter 37.

Thank you so much Lindsey! Would you believe people I know have said I should leave all the wood alone in this house?! Nothing will convince some people. =)

So cute!!! I’m all for painting paneling! 🙂 Also, may I add a little constructive criticism to bloggers from a reader…it’s beginning to get hard seeing all your wonderful details of your rooms when the light filtering is on high (I don’t know the terminology). I know you want it to appear as light and bright as possible, but when I have to adjust my monitor (and sometimes where sunglasses -haha), I believe there is too much filter going on. Out of all the photos I’ve seen in blog-land recently, these photos are pretty good (maybe just a little on the bright side). That is all! Thank you!!! 😀 Love love love this room though!!
