Cookin’ with Brooke

Brooke’s kitchen didn’t have any major issues to contend with, (unlike her home’s exterior, which  required a machete to check the mailbox). It just needed a light freshening up, and she makes it seem easy!

Here’s a few of her key ingredients: hardware on the cabinets, an interesting backsplash, shiny new countertops, and swapping out those heavy black barstools for a pretty pair in teal.  Also, that ‘EAT’ sign makes for an awesome accent AND a handy reminder in case you forgot what you came into the kitchen for.

See more on her blog Start At Home.

I hope she’s tall enough to reach those handles on the upper cupboards!

Those chairs *make the room*. LOVE the color! The entire room is gorgeous.

That EAT sign is awesome!! So fun and rustic. And the teal chairs… my favourite colour!
