This old kitchen was committing so many kitchen sins all at once I’m surprised it wasn’t struck down with lightning years ago. The lighting. The paneling. The soffit. The carpet. The ancient stove unit that looked less like a cooking appliance and more like a rejected video arcade game. “Hey kids, who wants to play Microwave Man?! No one???”
This wasn’t news to Elizabeth who wasted no time bringing it back to its glory days, if it ever had any to begin with. Check out her blog Created With Love to see all the love and details she put into this happy space, it’s so lovely!

April 25, 2013 at 1:49 AMHa!! Microwave man! You seriously kill me dead. I realize the point here is the before and afters, but I mostly come for the hilarious commentary.

April 25, 2013 at 2:23 AMGorgeous before and after. From dark dungeon to cheery brightness. Though I have to say the before picture made me happy for one reason. I always forget to take before pictures! I love that her before is a real before, but that she’s starting to go.
