Are you hosting a baby shower or a birthday party soon? I am! Here’s a nifty little idea from Michelle to dress up ordinary prayer candles as guest-gifts or table decorations. I love how instantly classy they look with the vellum. Easy!
I can’t wait to give this one a try, although the upcoming birthday party is for my soon to be 9-year-old son, and I’m not sure his friends would appreciate a lovely monogrammed candle in their goody bags. Maybe next year.

January 21, 2011 at 5:43 PMWe did these for our wedding. It was a huge hit, and everyone wanted to know where we bought them. Just cheap tissue paper and a glass cander holder from the dollar store. You can’t beat that!
