If I was thrifting it up and saw this table, I would have probably seen only that “interesting” stain job on the top and totally missed its great legs! Seriously, whoever stained it like that, did you even TRY? You managed to tape it off and stain, but you couldn’t be bothered to even measure to make sure you didn’t run out of space and have those poor half-diamonds on one end? Sigh.
So Jamie gave it a simple coat of blue that enhances the table’s shape, and opted for decals to add an interesting, not “interesting” touch. Did you know she got the decals from IKEA? (My boyfriend! I’m coming to visit you today!) and painted them white? Smartie pants.
