Sad Plaid

You will have to click on over to Beckie’s blog, Infarrantly Creative, to fully appreciate this do-it-yourself upholstery job. She gives an entire step by step rundown of how she managed to accomplish turning this $25 plaid monster into a chic little seat. And surprise! It’s a hide-a-bed too! Amazing.
I have only managed to reupholster one thing in my life, and it was a seat cushion, so basically, a square. And I just noticed the other day that it is falling apart, so I bow down before Beckie and her staple gun!

That was my first couch!!! No joke! I wish I had made it that pretty. I used a sage green herringbone bedspread that worked in 2000… Love this blog! 🙂
