Wall Treatment

If my husband was skilled as a handyman in any sort of way (he’s not, sadly) I would demand this wall treatment done in my house pronto! It’s so very classy and custom looking. Rebecca and her husband did this themselves, you can check out the progression of their walls over the years on her blog

Coffee Table Bench

Many times I pass by an item like this at a thriftstore or somesuch, thinking to myself “Nice coffee table, but I don’t need a coffee table. Now if only I could find a bench.” Oh, when will I learn?!

Thanks to Amber from Unnecessary Necessities for this lovely repurpose/makeover! And also the second damask redo today! I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to think that stuff is popular.

Grandma’s Lamp

Hard to believe this trendy lamp was once a gold covered hand-me-down paired with a ratty 75 cent thrift store shade. Brooke from The New Dorothy spray painted the base silver and tore apart the old shade and used it as a pattern for a new damask shade. Can you go wrong with damask, I ask? I daresay you can’t. Thanks Brooke!
