A Whole Lotta Stuff

Here’s a big monster weekend post to tide you over for awhile, because I’m going on a mini-vacation for what feels like the first time in my life! Woot!

White paint to the rescue! Great (not to mention labor-intensive) job by Caroline at Forever Vintage!

A little modgepodge lovin turns this reject glass ball into a statement piece, by Nicole at Bugaboos Creations.

Kayleen from This Old Chair redid this $10 Goodwill find into a lovely distressed desk for her home office. I’m loving the handles, which I think are actually the originals? Niiiiice.

This is seriously on my to-do list. No seriously. I’m planning on next week. I’ll let you know how that goes. From Chris at Just a Girl.

Wow, who’ve thought that atrocity had any potential? Sachiko from Tea Rose Home did, and good thing, because it turned out beautifully in her hands. Loves.

Sigh. If loving turquoise is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
From Victoria at Bumble Beans.

Thanks everyone! Your projects continue to inspire me daily! Have a creative weekend!

‘Nother Kitchen

Yeah, I know I just posted a kitchen redo, like, yesterday, but here’s another one!
Such a huge transformation, but really the majority of it is simply the new paint on the walls and new stain on the cabinets. (Ok, ok, so the flooring, lighting and countertops are all different too, but I think cabinet and wall colors are definitely what gives this redo the biggest impact, yes?)
Credit to Kim, from Tomkat Studio, although this is not actually her kitchen anymore. From what I understand, her home was up for sale and a buyer loved it so much that they insisted on buying EVERY last stick of furniture and piece of decor in the house. What a compliment to her great taste! Or … a little creepy … in a Single White Female kinda way … you be the judge.

Retro Kitchen

This retro kitchen makeover is by Jennevieve, by way of Casa Sugar. Jennevieve must be a fun gal, because her kitchen is pretty fearless. Not too many people would be brave enough to rip out cabinets, replace them with floating raw wood topped with a ceramic tiger, and accented with a funky medallion tile backsplash. I wish me and olJennevieve were friends, I bet she could teach me a thing or two!
