Door Makeover

Maybe you’ve noticed a trend today… Door Makeover, Closet Door Makeover, Closet Makeover. I swear I didn’t do it on purpose. Ok, I did.

Anyway, have you ever lived in a rental or somewhere with these horrible core doors? Ugh, they are so cheap! Well, Amanda classed hers up with some white paint and a little bit of moulding. So clever! She has a full tutorial HERE if you are inclined to try this at home.

Closet Makeover

When Heidi swapped rooms with her son to give him more space, (how nice!) she inherited this teensy joke of a closet.

So with some groovy wallpaper and shelves, she made a functional book nook instead! PS: check out her blog if you feel like squealing with glee.

Reading Nook

Cherish at Cup of Tea redid this old flip-top desk and chair and turned it into a cute little reading nook! I love that instead of buying new handles, she simply flipped the originals upside down for a new look. Great job Cherish!

If this was my adorable little traincase, I would prance around the airport, jauntily swinging it about, pretending I was a stewardess from the 60’s. I would.

Blair’s Chair

Another chair makeover! Who can resist? Not me. Blair found this chair at Goodwill (on 50% off day, brave girl!) and stripped it to its bones with the best intentions of giving it a worthy makeover. However, the chair proved to be a surprisingly tough (and smelly) contender and Blair had to call in for backup. Luckily her mom came to the rescue and finished sewing the chair up nice and pretty.

Must be nice having a mom who can rescue furniture! (hint hint Mom) See more pics of the makeover HERE.

Office Space

Hi! I’m back! Did ya miss me? Don’t answer that. Answer this instead: Do you wish you had a home office but simply don’t have the room?

Well, maybe you do! Amanda from Mandarin Studio made over this awkward little storage space into a sweet office niche! Proving that you only need a little bit of room and a little creativity!

I’m loving the red and the chandelier. Nice job Amanda!
