Game Over

Looks like Photobucket finally stopped throwing a tantrum and things are back to normal! Huzzah! So let’s get to it, shall we? We shall.

Ange had a closet. It looks like it used to be a game closet, but I’m not sure. (that was sarcasm, by the way. I didn’t even know that many board games existed. Hey, Mouse Trap!)

Anyway, she needed a little bit of office space, so I think you can see where this is going. Cloffice! (I actually really dislike that word, but it seems to be catching on. Can anybody think of an alternative? Officito? Hide-a-office? Hmm.) Anyway, it’s just about the prettiest office-in-a-closet I’ve ever seen! See it on her blog The Blooming Hydrangea.

Ken Lee

The Great Photobucket Lockout of 2011 continues. There is probably some way of working around this, but I’m too lazy to figure it out. Not too lazy to watch some more stupid videos though!

Please enjoy this woman singing “Ken Lee” on a Bulgarian version of American Idol. Don’t know that song? Oh, but you do.

In the meantime…

Apparently Photobucket can’t get it’s act together yet. I would send them a strongly worded complaint email, but I can’t even log in.

So please do enjoy this video instead. It has nothing to do with anything, but it does claim to take ten years off your face and I think you will find it undeniably awesome.

Verde y Blanca Ole!

Photobucket is having issues today, ISSUES! Is anyone else having problems? Man, I am failing at blogging lately. Someone is going to come and take away my official blogger sombrero. Please excuse if these pics are a little wonky.

So here is a great dresser redo from Courtney. I’ve seen a lot of dressers like this, and I’ve seen a lot of these dressers get makeovers too, but what I love about this one is the new (old) handles in white against the putty-colored green. I’m kind of having a crush on those colors lately, maybe it’s spring fever or something! Cutest little knobbies on this one too, check them out all up in your face on her blog A Diamond in the Stuff.

Farm Livin’

If you had told me when I was young that “country” style could actually look sophisticated, I’d have knocked you off your haybale. Where I grew it was all wicker baskets nailed to walls covered in geese wallpaper and and dining sets like this.

But when Kristen from kfd designs redid this country table for a friend, the result was farmhouse fresh! My interpretation of “farmhouse style” means country with a hefty dash of simplicity and chicness. More Martha Stewart, less Marty Stewart, yaheardme? Go check it out up close to see how she made it look authentically weathered, so pretty!

Sweet Splash

Dang. Do any of you fellow bloggers out there accidentally hit “publish post” when you are waaaay not ready to post? I just did that and sent up two before pictures and nothing else! You can go back and edit it of course, but once it’s out there, it’s out there. So I apologize if you read this earlier in google reader or somesuch and thought I had lost it, or was hung over from a wild weekend. Not so. My weekend consisted of antique shopping with ladies from church. The wildest thing we imbibed was hot cocoa. My life is too scandalous for you.

Anyway! Here comes the fantastic after to this before that has been hanging out by itself on the blog until now. But it is worth the wait. It makes me think of a candy store! And I’ve never had romantic feelings toward a shower curtain until now. From Courtney at Little Glass Box.
