Farm Livin’

If you had told me when I was young that “country” style could actually look sophisticated, I’d have knocked you off your haybale. Where I grew it was all wicker baskets nailed to walls covered in geese wallpaper and and dining sets like this.

But when Kristen from kfd designs redid this country table for a friend, the result was farmhouse fresh! My interpretation of “farmhouse style” means country with a hefty dash of simplicity and chicness. More Martha Stewart, less Marty Stewart, yaheardme? Go check it out up close to see how she made it look authentically weathered, so pretty!

We totally had goose wallpaper, with the traditional grey-blue of the 80’s!

See the problem here is, your hometown got stuck in 1980. But, I still love it up there. ANYWAY, the before picture didn’t show up for me. Boo!
