So, this isn’t so much of a makeOVER as it is a total-gut job start-from-scratch build-a-bathroom where there was none before. Not a ‘makeover.’ More of a ‘make.’
But it’s so gorgeous, I think both you and your eyeballs will enjoy it. Hey, I just read yesterday that Shakespeare invented the word ‘eyeball.’ Did you know that? Is that true? What were they calling them before? Eye-spheres? Eye-globs? Or did they just call them eyes? How boring.
Shakespeare also invented the phrase ‘Jack-and-Jill bathroom’. No he didn’t. I just wish he did for my own selfish post-writing purposes. But who’s to say he didn’t? The phrase ‘Jack and Jill’ is used twice in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. (Thank you Wikipedia for knowing that, and making me look smart).
Anyway!
Hollie had decided to knock out a wall and turn her den into a bedroom for her daughter. In doing so, she created a leftover chunk of space that was perfect for a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Let’s see how it turned out …
Oooh, it’s so good! I’m loving the tile on the floor. So clean and sharp, and a nice little graphic punch from pendant lights too. It’s not a huge space, so elevating the vanity was a great way of making the room feel airier.
Nicely done Hollie! See more at The Pink Zipper.
