I’m not looking at the man in mirror.

Have you ever looked at a piece of furniture that was clearly beyond your DIYing capabilities and felt sad because you liked it, but there was no way you could say, rebuild a mirror frame a cut a mirror exactly to fit and so why try?

Stop it girlfriend. (Or boyfriend).  You can handle this!

Gilly at Colour Saturated Life forgoed (forwent? How does that word go?) the mirror altogether and simplified this little dresser, and I daresay it looks even better than it probably did its mirrored glory-days.

Much improvement! While the mirrored dressers are okay, I’ve never quite been fond of them in the first place. Plus, the pink mixed with the dark wood is fantastic! 😀

I wouldn’t think to leave the drawers wooden with the pink. It’s a neat look.

I love the wooden drawers left in their natural finish against the pink. I have to repaint some cabinets for a camp – now I’m trying to figure out how to maybe get that look. Love it!
