Knot even kidding.

If you’ve hung around here long enough, you know all about my irrational fear of knotty wood.  It’s not a full-blown phobia where I’d run out the room screaming if I saw it or something, but it’s just enough to make me weirdly super uncomfortable.

For instance, I can’t make myself look this dresser in the eyes.  Because that’s what it has. Knotty eyes of evil staring into my soul. Ugh, I really feel nauseous. Quickly now, let’s scroll our way to the after.

I said quickly! Step to!

The after for this was not what I expected— I probably would have over-compensated with some dark, glossy paint to hide the knots. This is a much better choice of camouflage. Thanks for sharing.

I tend to like knotty wood. I think it gives character to a piece of furniture. The After is charming and I love the stencil pattern.
