Hello Monday! I hope everyone is happy and healthy at your house. We have a sick kiddo here. My daughter developed a nasty cough situation yesterday. I kept her home from school, but I don’t know if she’s sick enough to go to the doctor. I mean, she sounds like a sea lion with emphysema, but is that enough? How do you determine if your kid is sick enough to go to the doctor? I need a flow chart. Somebody please get on that.
If you feel like crawling back into bed too, here’s a lovely bedroom makeover from Sabrina to tickle your eyeballs. Sometimes bigger isn’t better. She reduced the girth of that headboard by removing the panels attached to the nightstands, and it really lightens up the room even with a darker paint color on the walls. Love it.
Get all the details on her blog Pink Little Notebook.

September 15, 2014 at 10:30 AMOh, I hope your little one is okay! There’s that weird new virus going around and a lot of kids are being hospitalized for it…not trying to be an alarmist at all but it’s good that you’ve got her at home:)
Beautiful bedroom, thank you for sharing!

September 15, 2014 at 11:32 AMI would take her in. Could be croup which can be dangerous and sometimes requires breathing treatments. Sometimes just sitting in the bathroom with the shower running on hot can help, too.

September 15, 2014 at 1:15 PMBe careful w/ that “new” virus that is traveling around so fast! Perhaps a call to the Dr. just to give symptoms and see what they say??

September 15, 2014 at 2:08 PMI’d take her in. All the schools in the area (mid-west) having been saying something about a nasty respiratory virus running around causing breathing problems with kiddos. And if nothing else at least you’ll know what it is (or isn’t!)

September 15, 2014 at 3:01 PMMake your daughter a hot toddy with lemon juice, hot water, & whisky. I’m sure it’s homeopathic. If that doesn’t work, make a few hot toddies for yourself. 😉
