Do you wish you were a little more … daring in your decorating? Why not incorporate some … triangles into your home? That’s right, triangles. They are the rebels of the shape family. They don’t follow no rules. They’re equilateral, isosceles, OR scalene. They don’t care. They are pointy on all sides. They’re … DANGEROUS.
If I haven’t convinced you to give triangles a try, maybe Shelley at 100 Things To Do and her nightstand makeover can.
Or what about this similar side-table makeover from Jen at Girl in the Garage? Two layers of triangular temerity! Can you handle it? I think you can.

How do people look at an item and have the courage to just paint it like that??? I have a dresser that has sit unfinished for years because I can’t make up my mind what to do with it!!

March 6, 2014 at 10:56 AMClearly, febrile delirium has set in for me, but I had to look several times at the top one to realize that it is not, in fact, recessed (the drawer part). The paint job just makes a cool optical illusion that it sinks toward the center. Again, it could be my fever playing head games (ha!), but whatever the case, those are both lovely.
