Is there a piece of furniture in your life that is beyond hope? So battle-scarred and abused that there is no chance of it ever living a normal life? So mistreated in a former life that it would be easier to just let it go and move on?
Don’t give up.
There is always hope!

March 25, 2014 at 1:12 PMExcellent! It’s gorgeous. I looked at the before picture and automatically was thinking about ways to use the pretty doors and curved drawers for something but it’s so nice the entire piece was saved.

March 25, 2014 at 1:49 PMThat is an example of a woman’s triumph over adversity. I love the shape of the front with the rounded drawers and fancy doors. So glad they could be saved! Nice work.

March 25, 2014 at 1:54 PMI just read the whole blog and it is a darn shame that a beautiful family heirloom was allowed to get into this distressed state! They should be ashamed of themselves and deserve to pay more than the value for the fix up! Furniture, especially veneered furniture cannot be stored outside. Sarah and her husband are to be congratulated for taking on this task.
