Better After reader Lynn’s master closet had a former life as a small, mold-infested bedroom. Ew, obviously. So when she bought the house, she gutted it, evicted the mold, and happily used it as a closet for many years. Then one day she had an epiphany. Look closely at the before picture and see if you can guess what it was …
Here’s a hint: the lake! She realized that her closet had one of the best views in the house! Well, that wouldn’t do. I bet those slacks and hats didn’t bother appreciating it one day of their lives.
So she decided to turn it into a lovely master bath worthy of such a view. I’d say it even upstages it. Beautiful work Lynn!

December 5, 2013 at 11:47 AMReally nice! I love the clean white cabinets combined with the rustic old ironwork. If I had a bathroom and a view like that, I wouldn’t mind so much getting up in the morning.

December 5, 2013 at 12:05 PMWonderful choice of cabinetry, flooring, and accessorizing! And now the room that is built for humidity and mold control is staged where it should be–next to the beauty of that wonderful water feature. Excellent solution, Lynn, for both house and wardrobe!
