Bundle of Boy

Hello!  I’m back, sort of!  We are officially moved.  At least, all of our stuff is here in the new house, but putting it where it belongs is another story.  We are moved over, but not moved in, knowwhatImean?  I’m still surrounded by boxes and piles and furniture that hasn’t found a home yet.  I whacked my knee so hard on a little cabinet that was randomly sitting in a doorway last night, and it’s still throbbing today.  Moving, BLEUGH!  I would rather do anything else.  You name it.  Root canal.  Childbirth. Ragnar.  Anything.  But we’re getting there!  And I’m looking forward to the Ugly Lamp Contest coming up soon!

And before I go on, I must give you a big, hearty, sweaty, uncomfortably long THANK YOU HUG for all your sweet emails and comments and well-wishes about moving and our impending bundle of joy.  It lifted my spirits so much!  Seriously, I truly thank you.

And speaking of impending bundles, here comes a sweet nursury makeover from Jennifer at Delightfully Noted. Before: a guest room perfect for those guests you don’t want staying very long.  After: vibrant and happy and cognitively developmentally friendly, and whatever else you’d want a baby’s room to be.  Great job Jennifer!

I love this color scheme of aqua, orange, and gray, don’t you? Jennifer is planning on a baby boy, but I think it would work great for a boy or girl! Or a grown-up who wants to pretend she has a perfectly organized room too.

Beautiful makeover, The colors are great! You are right, Lindsey, it is gender friendly, I just made my granddaughter a dress from fabric very much like the curtains. =)

I totally want to make you a baby quilt to match your new nursery! Can I make a secret board on Pinterest and you can pin ideas to it? It would be something fun to think about during breaks from unpacking and wondering where everything should go and why you keep hauling around things you don’t love or need (or maybe I only do that when moving).

Congratulations on your baby news – soooo exciting! Can you please consider. Going back to the occasional “better before” post? You used to do the odd one, and they were so funny! Totally waiting for your ugly lamp contest – your commentary makes me laugh out loud! Anyways, as I said, congrats on the baby news, and well done on your move. Don’t know how you do it!

Thanks so much for sharing Lindsey! This is the first time I have seen the before and after pictures side by side (I wrote up the nursery post in my last week of pregnancy so I was too lazy to do this! Haha) Congrats to you on your impending bundle of joy. Enjoy!
