Tuft Love

I don’t think I could have lived comfortably with this sofa bench in my home, because A) it doesn’t look comfortable at all, and B) it is totally staring at me. Staring me down with unblinking pillow eyes, like it might come to life when I least expect it.
Luckily Sarah came along and softened its edges with new upholstery (she retufted it herself!) and a sweet embroidered back cushion (from a Land of Nod twin sheet!), along with soft blue paint and an applique on the frame.  Now I kind of wish it would come to life because it would probably offer me tea and cake.  So cute.  Thanks Sarah!  See more on her blog Macayla’s Room.

Much more inviting and warm. I notice we have similar items in our headers…I have been looking for more blogs with similar focus as me … more project oriented…renovation … etc. I can’t wait to come back and read your past posts.
