Eat, Pray, Sit

How I would love to get my hands on a church pew to redo like this great one by Ashli from Maillardville Manor. Alas, the only church pew I’ve ever seen for sale was about thirty feet long. I guess I could have tried to chop it down and shorten it, but that would involve asking my husband to break out the power tools, and that never ends well.

Doesn’t it look great hard at work in her lovely dining room? Thanks Ashli!

that turned out super cute! I too would love to get a pew–saw one the other day, discounted to $350. Of course it was about 20′ long–was joking with the dh that if the kids are bad in church we can always make them come home and ‘practice’, ha ha!

I love using the pew as a bench. I’ve always wanted that look and LOVE it in white.

What a beautiful pew bench! I like the choice of fabric on the seat cushion, too.

Now that is gorgeous! We will need a bench or something for our kitchen table when the youngest gets out of the high chair. We only have 4 chairs & there is 5 of us! Wonder if I could find one… lol.

Beautiful! Such an awesome transformation – it doesn’t even look like a pew. It looks custom made for that space.
