Sally and her family moved into this house seven years ago. It was a nice house, but smelled faintly of the early 90’s. You know that smell, right? Smells like shiny brass fixtures and pink stucco?
That was then, because look at it now! See what a huge difference just painting the pink trim made? They also hung new shutters (made ’em themselves), updated the light fixtures and door hardware and added lots of plants and grass, but I am still marveling at that new trim! It made the biggest impact of all, I’d say, and I kind of like to think I’m right about these things. What do you think?

October 27, 2011 at 7:25 PMthis looks wonderful. yes the trim makes a big difference and it looks like the body of the house was painted gray too?
also — your feed stopped updating last week, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s you or me. Probably me. sigh

October 27, 2011 at 9:48 PMAm I the only one that thinks the brick looks darker and wonders why there’s a rocking chair facing the house? It’s a nice after though!
Also, your feed just updated this afternoon with everything from Saturday, so maybe it’s not just Katy. (Or maybe it’s both of us. I’m sure you’re fine Lindsey.)

October 29, 2011 at 11:46 PMThank you for featuring our house! To answer a few questions from above. We’d like to paint the main part of the house grey…but haven’t yet. The rocking chair is on pavers we added before we put in the lawn.
Thanks again!!

October 31, 2011 at 2:42 AMThe brick does look darker, but it might just be the addition of black shutters that makes them appear that way.
