Awn and Awn

Jen formerly had a big, red, room of gloom.  I get that red is supposed to be a cheerful color, but too much and I feel like I’m sitting inside a mouth.  Which is inappropriate for any room, especially a dining room.  Also, all that red was fighting pretty hard against the hue of the hardwood floors, but now it’s a peaceful dining oasis!  I love the giant dandelion puff pendant, which I believe can be purchased from my boyfriend, IKEA.  And how about the little awning over the window?  It is actually extremely easy to do yourself, as I have learned from my secret lover, Pinterest.

What a terrific makeover! You couldn’t even see how pretty the floor was in the red room, but it sings in the after. Love the bright pops of green she used and the Makros light is one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing.
