From what I understand, Emily’s home kind of sort of had three bedrooms, but the master bedroom was really just a breezeway thing off of the garage. I know a lady who designed her home so that the only door into the garage was in her bedroom. I really can’t imagine how or why that would come in handy.
Less likelihood of your teenagers sneaking in or out? Really short walk to your car in the morning? Easier to unload your toilet paper when you got home from the store?
Huh.
Anyway, Emily needed more room ya’ll, a baby was coming! So they went up!

May 14, 2011 at 8:19 PMThanks everyone! We started the project in Feb of 2009…The outside was “finished” (still working on porch and landscaping) in May 2009) and we lived in it all but a month while the roof was off. Went from a 3ish bedroom one bath to a 5 bed 3 bath! Still working on the inside but have lived upstairs since Dec 2009!
