Dawn, aka Yo-yo Mama had this ho hum baskety thing that was headed for her garage sale. But then she happened upon a fantastic blog full of nothing but before and after projects! I wonder what blog that was, it sounds great! Anyway, she was inspired to pull this from the pile and show it some love, and also introduce it to color. Night and day difference, wouldn’t you say?

April 20, 2011 at 3:18 AMOoh that’s a tough one. She did a fantastic job on it, and I love the color. But the original coloring and weaving was pretty awesome. (I think if it were me, I would have kept the weaving but maybe painted it a different color). Either way, win win and she done good.

It’s the style of thing which sells for several hundred £s here in England and would have fit into virtually any decorating scheme – before.

Jane, I was lucky in that I think this piece only cost me about $50 and I bought two. However, if you want to give me several hundred dollars for the one I haven’t altered, I’d love to work something out with you!! 🙂
