Brit over at Sisters Friday found this interesting item at a yardsale and later learned that it was used to organize typeface letters for a printing press! One cannot deny it’s organizational usefulness, so she stayed true to its history and uses it to organize her crafting supplies.
All the colorful little boxes within were made by modge podging fabric to makeshift cardboard boxes.
I have decided that I need one! Not sure what I would put in it, since I am hardly what you’d call crafty. Socks maybe? Who knows? What would you use it for?

August 12, 2010 at 4:09 PMBrilliant! I love it. I think you could use it for socks, or pens and pencils or sewing supplies. I’d use it for my crafty daughter’s craft supplies!

August 12, 2010 at 6:57 PMThat’s really cute. My parents have something like that at home that they almost threw away but then realized I’d want it. It’s waiting there for me and I’m going to make a display of my rock collection. I’d use it for crafts, but I don’t do crafts that often (although I should since I own so much stuff).
