I bet you could go to your local thriftstore today and find heaps of abandoned brass light fixtures just like this one. You could take one home, gut its innards, give it a little spray paint therapy and ta da! You will have made yourself a great display lantern like Jessica from Running with Scissors.
I think it would look great with a big candle in there. Reminds me of Michelle’s similar fixture redos over at Three Men and a Lady. Simply amazing!
