I haven’t posted a kitchen redo in a while, don’t know why, they are some of my favorites! This kitchen comes from Mikael at Starter Home to Dream Home.
Her kitchen was looking a little dated, with the burgundy walls, oaky cabinets and Christmas decorations. I mean seriously, Christmas was like 5 months ago. (I kid!)
I’m just astounded at the results. It never fails to amaze me how big a difference paint can make, although there was a lot more that went into this redo than that. Check out her blog for all the details. Even her knife set got a makeover! Thanks Mikael!

May 28, 2010 at 4:36 AMThis is nice! So many things to love, the damask window treatment, the fresh off-white color of the cabinets, the subway pattern of the backsplash and the rectangular dining table… works a lot better in my opinion than the round table in the before picure.

May 29, 2010 at 2:26 AMI love these kitchen makeovers! But I look at them and think “how sad is it that the before picture is way cuter than my kitchen?” I need to figure something out to do with mine I guess! LOL
