Redd Chair

Did you know that there is such thing as leather dye? If only this one lady at the landfill had known that, she probably wouldn’t have been there in the first place, about to dump this faded, but otherwise perfect chair. (What?! Haven’t you ever heard of Goodwill, lady?)
But luckily, Lindsay Redd was also there! She decided to save the day, and the environment, and took the chair home, where it got a lovely leather dye treatment and looks brand new! Check out her blog HERE for more, and to see what DIDN’T survive the makeover…

Why would anyone throw that chair away. It was still in great condition. I can’t believe someone would be so wasteful and not even think of donating it to someone needy. Beautiful leather.

Hmmmm, would leather dye work on me. I want a permanent tan with no exposure to harmful UV rays.

I never knew that mere mortals could dye their own leather! That looks amazing.
