This living room used to be unexciting. Even the dog was like “Eh, I’d rather just lay my head adorably in my paws and take a snooze in here.”
Micah from The Yellow Front Door livened it up with new drapes and decor, bringing in some much needed color. And do you notice the change in the fireplace? She simply painted over the brass grate and it looks so much more streamlined now. Love it! Thanks Micah! More to see on her blog HERE.

Do YOU have ANY suggestions for keeping a large area rug from “crawling”??
I’ve tried EVERYTHING….double sided tape, industrial velcro, etc.! (Currently, I have about 6 small brass screws holding it in place, but it STILL seems to “crawl” and bulge! ERRRRRRRR!!!!!!)
I’m crossing my fingers that YOU (or your readers will have an idea that WORKS!)
