Photoshopped Kitchen

Loving the before shot of Erin’s kitchen here. She forgot to take a before, so she just (un) fixed it right up with photoshop! Cool with me, all I require is a before and after!
She wasn’t a huge fan of this kitchen when she and her husband first moved in. She tried to spice things up with the tin backsplash, but that wasn’t enough. So she rolled up her sleeves and got busy, and I think the end result is fabulous. The tin backsplash really pops and the dark countertops work so much better with the white. See the whole transformation on her blog Domestic Adventure. Thanks Erin!

Weird! The before is EXACTLY my kitchen, with the only differences being that my appliances are black and that I haven’t attempted a backsplash yet.

Thanks for the feature, Lindsey, and thanks to everyone for the nice comments.

As I was photoshopping, I thought, I can’t believe I am undoing this beautiful work!

That’s pretty funny! I’ve seen people use photoshop to mock up a reno before they do it, but never to undo a reno! But I completely understand; I forget to take before pictures all the time.

Anyway, it never ceases to amaze me how white can brighten and lighten up a kitchen.

Wow – the after looks similar to my kitchen… or at least the colors do – especially the paint color on the walls and ceiling! So of course I think it looks fabulous! 🙂
