Painting furniture is all the rage these days, but sometimes nothing compares to good old fashioned wood. This here is a pie safe that was Ashley’s grandmother’s.
She switched it around a bit to match her style. I don’t know that that faded, busted down green color was matching anyone’s style, unless they worked for the Forest Service or something. (Like MY grandma did! Hi Grandma! Oh, who am I kidding, I’m quite positive my grandma does not read this).
I love how she used green on the inside, not only does it complement the deep brown nicely, it’s a reminder of the pie safe’s past. Thanks Ashley!
