Long, long ago, about 30 years or so, a potential buyer took one look at this empty home and felt an undeniable urge.
To use the bathroom.
Nature was calling, and since she happened to be a realtor she was able to let herself inside.
Once she had taken care of … er … business, she gave this little home a closer look and saw high ceilings and tons of potential. So she purchased the home, and 30 years of love later, here’s what it looks like today …

Gasp! Is this not the cutest little fairy-tale cottage you’ve ever seen? I want to punch it in the face with my love.
What do you think made the biggest difference here? The landscaping and iron fence? The painted brick? The colonial-style windows and doors? All of it all at once?
Yes, yes, yes, and much yes.

March 15, 2018 at 11:53 AMWhen I was 15, my friend’s mom was pregnant and they were trying to decide on a name for the baby. They decided on naming her Nature. That is until I told her to think of future messages that her daughter would leave- “While you were out, Nature called” . Yep, they gave that name up in a hurry!

March 15, 2018 at 12:54 PMThe greenery, for sure! The fence and steps are lovely, but even the old version of the house would have looked much nicer with that lush yard.

March 15, 2018 at 4:27 PMI just plain love the dark green paint on those previously drab bricks! Well, and the cream or white trim AND the blue door and it looks like the roof is also blue. Lovely color scheme; it just nestles into the gorgeous landscape. It all just totally goes together.

March 15, 2018 at 4:49 PMI think the trim on the windows and doors is what really makes it stand out. ā¤ļø They could have left the brick and it would have looked like it was truly a colonial home. So well done, all around, though!

March 15, 2018 at 5:29 PMWhat? Nah…wait, same tree, same something…Nope, not same…wait a minute….Well, heck and harrah! It IS the same house! Who knew a lick of paint, a new fence, brick paving, new roof, and god only what else this realtor did to the the place could make it so dang NICE! Now can she just pop on over to me in Australia and use MY toilet???
