Did somebody order a makeover of a 1928 Spanish bungalow beach-house today? No? Are you sure? Well, I’ve already got it ready, so this one’s one the house.
Side note: Has that ever happened to you in real life with real food? I went to a smoothie place with some friends a couple months ago, and the smoothie workers were … what the French call ‘les incompetent,’ and they kept messing up other people’s smoothie orders and just giving the extras to us. Cool right? No. We ended up with seven smoothies for three people, and not even good smoothies, accident smoothies. You can only drink so much smoothie. There’s a smoothie limit. I can’t even say smoothie that many times without it starting to getting weird. Smooooothie. I haven’t had one since.
Anyway, Dorie is the opposite of les incompetent, and brought life back to this adorable Ventura home before putting it on the market where it lasted approximately six seconds.
Check out her blog Tuesdays With Dorie to see the interior!

February 20, 2018 at 9:49 PMSO GLAD YOU’RE BACK!!! Wait, am I yelling? Well, yes, I might be a little but I am so darned happy you’re back. I checked your website every couple of weeks, occasionally leaving an encouraging comment. I’m so happy you’ve been able to climb out of the black hole or at least you’ve been able to see sunshine at the top of that blasted hole. Even though we’ve never met, I am so proud of you! Keep taking those deep breaths and taking it a day at a time. Woohoo, Lindsey.

February 26, 2018 at 11:32 AMI rarely read blogs any more – there are a couple that I still follow, and when I sat down at my computer to eat lunch just now neither of them had posted anything new. So I went down my list and saw Better After and thought, “ooh, I used to love that one!” Had no idea that you hadn’t been posting and have had such a rough year, but I’m glad you’re back and I will add this one to my list to check regularly again! (And I agree with the others that I just LOVE seeing the before and afters, but also that everything you post is interesting and fun, so do what you’d like!)
