I’m not at a loss for words often, but today’s kitchen makeover might just … you know … do … that.
Actually, I am at a loss for words often, sort of. Example: the other day I was trying to say the words ‘chocolate chips’ while literally holding a bag of chocolate chips in my literal hand, and the only words that kept coming out of my mouth were ‘carrot cakes.’ Like, Lindsey, that’s not even close. Get your life together.
Mom brain, it’s real.
Anyway, I’d love to make some carrot cake cookies or whatever in this beautiful kitchen from the makeover masters at Sebring Services.
Nope, I would never cook in this gorgeous kitchen. It’s just too perfect to muck up with such frivolities as cooking and eating. Pshh. I think I’d just invite people over to come look at it. And charge them admission.
“Hi! Welcome to my new kitchen. Please come in. Here, have a small cup of water. Don’t touch anything. K, bye!”
But seriously, isn’t it fabulous? Everything is so crisp and serene, simple but still plenty of visual interest, from the backsplash to the pendants to the wood casing on the windows which warm it up an keep it from being too stark. Perfection.
Check out Sebring Services for more, they have a huge remodeling portfolio to page through which is a great way to spend half your day!

August 26, 2016 at 11:47 AMI need somebody to do some ‘splainin’! I never could understand why peninsulas were so popular especially when they butted up against the fridge! Yeah sure, you have a nice long counter but you have to pass through the aisle of doom and hope no one is coming the other way! Makes way more sense to put in an island instead. Okay, this is freakin’ gorge!!! Love it! I redid my kitchen last year and I’m already up for another redo. Wait a minute, maybe not. I remember now … Mexican food, pizza, and cold cereal for three months. Um nevermind. I’ll just have a great time looking at the redos you post. 🙂

August 26, 2016 at 2:36 PMI love the white cabinets and the blue island. The colors area fabulous! I’m not sure the reason for the blank wall behind the island. I would have wanted to take it down.

September 1, 2016 at 7:03 AMOMG: loved your comment regarding (almost dropped a bag sod chocolate chips)! I have a habit of eating them vs making cookies with them & passed on the bad habit to 2 daughters!!

September 9, 2016 at 3:23 PMHi all! I am the homeowner and thank you for kind words. It was an amazing process and we are beyond thrilled with the finished product.
@Carol-you are so right the peninsula was awful and we were dying for an island to make the space have more flow and function.
@Leann-the pics actually don’t do the blue island justice it is such a great contrast. We also chose brass (now called Modern Bronze) hardware for more interest. The blank wall behind is where my 1st floor powder room is. Since we had redone that the year prior it was staying put! But the blank wall is destined for some amazing art–still not found.
