Tik Tok, make it stop.

Observe how Ke$ha dramatically demonstrates the principle of the makeunder:

Wowza. She’s a babe, but you’d never know under all that … look. That was a lot of look. I mean, I would never wear my stud eyebrows and hair croquembouche on the same day!

Same thing with this dresser.  It had too much going on and not going on at the same time.  But would you believe there’s a classy stunner underneath all that too? No really.  Scroll down if you don’t believe me.

How is your daughter feeling? Just wanted to see if that crazy cough she had cleared up okay.

You’re a genius. What an example! Hee hee, why do people and furniture do that to themselves? Oh, wait…

I hope croquembouche is a real word, because I’m going to use it in a sentence asap.

I see what you mean about the croquembouche! But I would definitely wear my croque monsieur. 🙂
My hubby would have said no way if I’d brought that dresser home. Jen did a beautiful job reclaiming it!

I went to the original blog and the story is amazing. What she did to this old dresser is heroic. It turned out nice too. She says she wants to reveneer the top drawers but I would just leave them the way they are as a homage to the history of this piece. She’s given it a new lease on life.
