Anyone else getting their butt kicked by summer? Happens to me every year. I remember when I was a kid, summertime seemed to stretch out f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I was always excited to finally go back to school. Now it flies by! You try to pack so much in that everything is a blur. I told my friend the other day that I feel like August is already over, and she was like “Um, it’s still July.” And I was like “EXACTLY.”
Holla if you hear me. And give a holla to Lisa at Sweet Parsley Home for her gray wingback makeover. Gosh, so pretty. Learning how to reupholster is at the top of my to do list. Sometime. When I have time. Maybe next summer.
Don’t forget to enter the leather giveaway going on now!

July 8, 2014 at 10:06 AMThat is one nice makeover. I don’t always like painted wood on this type of chair but the black really works with the fabric choice.
I always think I will do a lot of sewing and yes, learn to upholster during the summer but then it’s always too hot here to get much done except check my favorite blogs and make sure my strawberries don’t get too dry and shrivel up.
