Blame it on the Grain

Lindsey (not me, another, more productive Lindsey) had a solid set of dressers on her hands that she found at a yard sale.  It appears that someone at one point had attempted to spray-paint them white, then, realizing that pressing a button for 10 seconds at a time was far too much work, gave up, leaving behind one white drawer front and a half-hearted streak across the top.  Wow, that person is even worse than me.

Fortunately Lindsey isn’t afraid of a process, and took her time taping, painting, staining and sanding them into the lovely grain-sack-inspired pair they are today. They look great!  See more at This Delightful Life.

Those dressers are gorgeous!! They could be used in almost any room. I love what the other Lindsey did with them.

I had that exact same dresser–the one on the right! In fact, I had two of them. What ever happened to them? Oh, I gave them to my daughter. No one has ever painted them…these look great!

Oh my. I’ve said it before, but you are stinkin’ hilarious. This title made me laugh! Don’t know how I feel about having Milli Vanilli stuck in my head the rest of the day, though 🙂
