Renting? Here’s a solution to a common dilemma: if you can’t paint your walls, paint your furniture! See how Jenny kept almost everything the same in her guestroom? The wall color, bedding, artwork and lamps are all the same, the only change is a few coat of chalk paint on the bed and nightstands.
But what a difference! The blue is doing a much better job of looking fresh and fun with the coral accents than all that brown was. Nice try brown. But you’re fired.

September 23, 2013 at 9:34 AMHoly crap! She painted that beautiful bed? GUTSY! But I LOVE it and I’ve learned why keep something one way if you would like it better another way. Beautiful bedroom! And if she gets tired of it in a few years – it would be stunning in any new color! Nice job.

September 23, 2013 at 11:14 AMThe blue really brings out the details in the wood. So insane, the bed makes the walls lighter, and everything fresher. Love it!!!

September 23, 2013 at 2:00 PMI can not believe the transformation that paint job did! It is amazing. The blue REALLY pulls together the coastal look she had going but got lost in the brown. I love how the blue really showcases the details in the bed and the white on the drawer pulls. She did an amazing job!
