It seems that someone had made over this dresser at some point before it fell into Shanna’s hands. That person tried very hard to not try very hard, didn’t they? They win the gold medal for “Eh.” “I’ll just slap some new handles on here and call it good. Wait, I have to measure them and crap? Yeah, I’ll just double-knob the whole thing and call it good.”
Then they didn’t even bother to match up the double-knobs! But enough griping. The after more than makes up for it. So lovely and feminine! See it on Shanna’s blog Shanna at Restoration Redoux.

August 1, 2013 at 3:38 AMThis is funny! I have that exact dresser and put all white ceramic knobs on it, but it didn’t improve the overall look. Needs paint!

August 1, 2013 at 5:08 AMDouble knobs are one of my pet peeves – even worse than painting the handles with the same paint as the dresser. This piece has so much charm now. I especially love the key holes.

August 4, 2013 at 2:11 AMSuch a sweet dresser! Normally I don’t go for pink on furniture like this, but it works on this one.
