Someday our kids will laugh and laugh at our decorating choices from the past. Or will they? Because Sherah’s new bedroom looks pretty fantastic. I mean, what could they possibly look back on and say? “Oh my gosh mom, blue and white?? What were you thinking?! WAINSCOTING?? That was cool like, 100 years ago. And neutral bedding? *snort* Niiiice.”

This room is the result of a lot of HARD work from Sherah who was eight months pregnant with her eighth child when she decided she simply couldn’t look at her ugly bedroom for one more minute. So, she did the whole thing herself! Did I mention she was eight months pregnant with her eighth child? Someone give that girl an award.

October 5, 2012 at 4:59 PMAnonymous, I’m pretty sure that when this mother is old, she will look back on her life and be a lot happier about her eight (and possibly more in future?) children than she would be about having spent countless hours watching crap TV. In fact, I bet she’s happy about it even now, and has been all along.
Why people feel the right to comment on others’ family size, as if anything over two kids is disgusting, confuses me. Do you have between 0 and 2 children? Do people come up to you in teh grocery store and ask why you’re not getting any? Probably not.
Kudos to that mother and renovator. Children are wonderful, and big families are awesome!
