Jen was yearning for some color on her front door, but her front door wasn’t up for it. For starters, her front door is set way back in a dark tunnel-esque entryway. Secondly, the exterior of her house is a peachy-colored stucco. Unless she was planning on painting her door a pastel teal and sticking a coyote in a bolo-tie out there, very few colors would work with that vibe. But, not to be deterred, she painted the inside of her door instead. Fun! I love the quote too, that’s pretty much all we really need to remember, right? Check it out on her blog Twiddler House.

July 13, 2012 at 4:36 AMI hope I’m getting this right, because I love a quote very similar. I think it was from John Adams. Is that right, Jen? I think it all the time…”Be good, do good.” According to HBO’s version, he says it to his kids as he tucks them into bed.
Lindsey, just so you know, I love your quirky humor. I just GET it!

July 13, 2012 at 12:23 PMNow that’s what I call a lovely soft shade of yellow. I’ve always been partial to yellow and it’s been such a long time since it’s been in the design scheme of things. Welcome back beautiful color.
