Do you remember that old movie The Watcher in the Woods? I know, I know, it was Disney’s weak attempt at a ‘scary’ movie and everyone thought it was like, super lame, but guess what homie? THIS kid was scared. That stupid movie still continues to freak me out to this day. But am I freaked out by this wooded bedroom makeover from Jennifer at Migra[tion]? Ha! Not at all. I could sleep very peacefully in this lovely room. (With my nightlight on).

February 21, 2012 at 8:52 PMOh, I’m so glad to know I wasn’t the only one. I have a VERY low tolerance for scary movies. I couldn’t even watch Scooby Doo alone as a child. All those ghosts!!!

February 21, 2012 at 3:56 PMThe name “Karen” (or “Nerak”) kind of leaves me uneasy ever since I watched that movie at my grandparent’s house when I was little. It terrified me. Then again, I think that Wizard of Oz is scarry (the flying bat-things, the wicked witch…)

February 21, 2012 at 6:37 PMI wanted to mention that it’s actually a stencil, from Cutting Edge Stencils, called “birch forest allover”. Thanks for the compliments! And thanks Lindsey, for posting it!

February 21, 2012 at 6:50 PMDid you ever see The Peanut Butter Solution (1985)? It was supposed to be a family fun film but it terrified me for the better part of a decade. Very cool stencil wall.

February 21, 2012 at 9:09 PMI think I’m with some of the others; I prefer the “before” picture as well. Perhaps if there were others things to tie the wall in…

surprised by the lack of love for this wall. IMHO, it’s very serene.

February 24, 2012 at 3:33 AMOmg! That movie scared me half to death!! I was never able to watch it up until maybe about a year ago and when I got through the whole thing, it was actually REALLY good. However, up until then I shivered just hearing the name of the movie! LOL
