Lucky Ducky

Isn’t this the most unique little cradle you’ve ever seen?  It had been rocking babies to sleep in Jute’s family for nearly 30 years by the time she was ready to have a baby of her own.  Though it was missing some parts and slightly rat-chewed (fun!), she figured she could make it work.  Only, then guess what happened? … She found an identical one for $20 in a thrift store!  What are the crazy odds of that?!   So she used it for donor parts and had her old cradle looking brand new in no time.   I think fate or kismet or the patron saint of Goodwill had a hand in that.  See it on her blog Ramikins Renos.
