Everyone knows it’s hip to be square (except probably not the people who were born after me, because that song came out like, 30 years ago. And also people who have not watched nor read American Psycho). But other than that, everyone knows it’s hip to be square. So then, do we all agree that if it is truly hip to be square, obviously the more squares, the better? Or hipper? I certainly think so.

It doesn’t seem anything like the same room.

January 25, 2012 at 12:29 AMThank you so much for the feature! It took me a long time to sum up the courage to start a blog and share my attempts at decorating. Thank you all for you kind words. At Martha, thank’s for the tip about using the tall parts of the bed as headboards… I didn’t even think of that:)

January 24, 2012 at 5:58 PMLovely room! The squares echo the shape of the room and the window!
I am wondering, though, why Niko didn’t use the tall parts of the beds for the headboards for each of the beds and the short portions for the footboards? We used to have a set of bunkbeds like this and that was how we used to set them up. Just a thought…
In any case, Niko has done a wonderful arrangement and decoration of this room!
