This seat is saved.

Katlyn from The Richter’s World found this chair for $5 at a yard sale.  She wasn’t too terrified of its orange disintegrating fabric, weathered wood and nests of spiders (yikes!), and she turned it around into a lovely—”Yeah yeah, ‘scuse me, Cat here.  Katlyn made nice chair for me.  No try to sit here.  Go away, this my chair.  I watching you. Go away. I nap now.”

That sure made a difference in the appearance of that chair! Love her fabric choice… and the cat is cute too!

Thanks for the nice comments about the chair (and cat) everyone! 🙂 It was a fun easy project that I completed in just about 24 hours, and loved spending the time with my mom to do it! Fun! Happy DIY’ing!
