Every so often, (ok, twice now) I veer away from home and furniture makeovers and feature fashion before and afters instead! Because I sure do love those too. What’s better than reinventing something you’ve had hanging in your closet for ages into an item you are actually excited to wear?
This fun denim do-over from Francesca came to me about a week too late, as I JUST BARELY took a stack of old flare-leg jeans to Goodwill. She dyed this pair using iDye in silver/gray and restitched the legs to a slimmer fit. They look great; I’m so mad! Arg! I will find consolation by reminding myself that I really can’t sew anyway, and if I tried to construct skinnies out of flares I would would probably produce some sort of franken-jean that I wouldn’t be able to get my feet into nor out of. Best to leave it to the pros.
