And everything nice!

Not that the humidifier, teensy wall decor, and mismatched furniture were necessarily bad …  but they weren’t anything you’d excitedly go showing off to your friends either.  That all changed when Julia gave her daughter’s bedroom a softer, girlier color palette and a symmetrical layout (oh, how me and my OCDness love symmetry) that really helps to define the space.  It’s perfect for a young girl, but with just the right amount of sophistication.  Sugar and spice!  See more from Julia right HERE.

Loving that pink and black prettiness. I love traditional balance, too.

Thanks, Lindsey! I am beside myself with excitement that you’re showing off Lainy’s room on Better After! (And cringing a lil’ bit about the before! Painfully honest, it is!)

Wow, that looks great. I love the black and white side tables and how the hardware looks like painted damask.

I am new to this and loving it. Thank you for the ideas! One question for Julia… what did you do the humidifier? I must know… My husband and I just got married in May and because of his allergies, I am getting used to my bedroom not looking so cute anymore with a humidifier AND air purifier right next to our bed. I don’t know what to do with them. Any tips?! Thanks 🙂

Oh, dear… I’m afraid I just moved it around so it isn’t the first thing you see when you walk in the room. 🙁 I wish I could give you a better clever solution! My husband also has allergies and the humidifier in our room is even bigger! I have that one positioned so you don’t see it unless you walk around to the far side of the bed. But, hey, if you come up with something let me know! 😉
